I think that what you are doing is wonderful. A little over a year ago, I was trying to return to the work force after an extended illness. Of course my finances were at rock bottom and below. DVR and Goodwill Industries ... advised me that there were no funds available to [purchase make-up]. So, while I had new clothes, new shoes, and a new hair cut, I still didn't feel "complete" without makeup. I ended up going to a department store before interviews and had the makeup representatives "demonstrate" their products on me before I went on interviews.
